I recently downloaded a video that looked very familiar to another one i'd seen with the exact same footage in the exact same sequences as another amv I'd seen just in a different order and to a different song just with different music. I don't want to tattle on anybody but is this allowed? When I read the summary all it said was" My first video no real plot enjoy!" Or something to that affect. It seriouly looks like they just took someone else's video and put different music over it!

This is a problem that has cropped up before; in most cases, because of the nature of this hobby, there's very little that the mods can do about it.

If it's not one of the cases discussed in the threads listed below, and there are some obvious points indicating plagiarism, like effects applied at exactly the same time-mark, in exactly the same way, you might want to bring it to the attention of the mods or contact the involved creators (esp. the one who got ripped off) directly.

it would suck to get ur own video's credit taken away from another user
