Legality of Non Anime Video in AMVs

Post by OhmGautama » Sun Jun 06, 2004 5:45 pm

Just a quick question and I checked through the forums and only found a topic about the legality of amvs at all but my question lets say I used a scene from say Star Wars in one of my amvs, would that be considered illegal to use, would Lucas Arts be jumping down my throat if they saw it used in a convention somewhere? Just wondering appreciate any info you have on the subject. (I apologize if this was already posted before and I missed it)

Yea, if anyone from their company was there (That cared) they'd probably get you on redistribution.
