Guess I forgot to say that this was for Castor Troy's WMM contest. All tools are prohibited except WMMsilver_moon wrote:How come you're releasing this version if you're going to release a full version later? But anyway...
I don't know if I want to say too much about this version if it's not the "finished" version. But as for this version, it needed cross fades. And why are there japanese subtitles in the footage? If it's downloaded footage, I'd recommend renting the game and ripping it yourself. If you're not doing that for the full version, you should.
And just in my opinion: since the FFX-2 footage is so limited, maybe you should use FFX too. It would keep you from having to repeat scenes, and you'd have a lot more to work with.
For the singing parts at the end, I think you might have done too much lip syncing. Since it's not like anime where the characters' mouths are either open or closed, it's really hard to lip sync with those scenes if you do so much of it. It looks a little unnatural and forced the way it is.
And I'd like to see more syncing on drum beats.![]()
But the ending was very emotional. It worked really well with the music there.
