  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

1st Action Video

Post by Kumagarou » Thu Apr 08, 2004 7:50 pm

Not much to say except this was an experimental type of thing. I usually do drama vids & this is my 1st attempt at an action vid. It's also the 1st video where I use multiple anime. So yea, here's the link. ^^

Title: What Lies Beneath
Song: Crawling by Linkin Park
Footage: Ayashi No Ceres, DN Angel, Fruits Basket, Generator Gawl, Inuyasha (TV & 2nd Movie), Rurouni Kenshin, Gensoumaden Saiyuki

Any feedback would be great~ X3 & don't give me any guff about using a Linkin Park song! XP

hey man, i liked your video, but two things. the editing is cool and looks like you had a lot of fun with it, however, was it supposed to be to the beat of the song? if so, it didn't quite make it..if not, then let's just say it's a bit distracting, but other than that i thought you did a terrific job in that aspect...

also, i'm for thinking that in a multiple anime vid, the animes should all be of the same art style, or close enough to each other in terms of quality that you can't tell the difference...inuyasha doesn't fall into the rest of the anime very well...it detracted from the video imho..

Nice editing. I thought the different animes went pretty well together, actually. The whole vid was very smooth.

But not really anything too different as far as action videos go, imo. I've seen quite a few well-edited linkin park videos. You kind of have to do something crazy or really unique to make a linkin park action vid stand out.

Really good stuff here. The transparencies were a little messy though and hard to see. But overall I like ^^

Decent video you got there. It's just that Linkin Park AMVs just got a little bland in my taste.

Pretty good timing, ok video quality, trendy song, decent audio quality, good flow and the theme works (A little). 3.7/5
