I think that's kind of pushing it, because I *love* to hear from people who really enjoyed my videos, or even people who have suggestions on how to improve. It's nice, yes; but I prefer to only care about things that I want to know about. If I care about fixing something in my video, and I think the input of others could be beneficial, I'll ask for it.

I don't send AMV-related email directly to the spam filter, but I am a rather terrible correspondent when it comes to such subjects. I don't believe I've ever replied to a single AMV-related email I've received, mostly due to either laziness or apathy.)

This is an amusement that I do for my own sake; I shouldn't have to respond, much less care, about what somebody else thinks of what I'm doing. I'm not saying that this is what you should do; this is just what I have found to work for me.

The Internet makes people stupid.
The Web makes people on the Internet stupid.

I'd say that you should just brush it off as a negative byproduct of relative anonymity. It isn't something that you can do overnight, but in time it comes.

Yes -- basically I'm recommending that you strive for apathy. IMHO, it's the best way to combat idiots.

Except in politics and military situations. Those are the two places where I think being apathetic towards idiots doesn't work. The pen, rather, is much more effective. AK-47s moreso.

ya know, the only way to deal with shitheads that flame you because of something such as your sexuality is to be happy to be who you are. if a guy is flaming you for being attrackted to guys then just hit on him, and keep doing it over and over and over again, and get all cute and cudly and gay, itl piss the fuck out of him. oh and, im bi too, so if anyone wants to flame me, go ahead

Maybe I was wrong to have expected better from you. Was I? Is it too much to ask for a little levity when someone is upset about something instead of joking with friends and distracting from the discusion? And the "who made it your thread?" post was a little strange considering it's his thread because he posted it.

You joked, went off-topic, then yelled at the creator of the thread for asking that you show a little consideration. So yeah, I expected better. But if you want to make jokes and play, go for it. Take the stage and joke away, but you know you can always make your own thread if you want the spotlight.

im being discriminated because of my sig... when i make a little bit off topic thread, people taddal teller about it in the drop box and flame me a bit... but when other people make a little bit off topic thread, people dont care...

Exactly. You have the nerve to come into a thread and make a random comment and expect me to not be a little irritated? I created this thread with the intent of finding out about others who have been discriminated against. Unless you have something to contribute, please don't slander this thread with your random, off-topic remarks.

see this is why I wish I got flame mail from the people who hate my videos...but NO, I give them obscure and amusing names, and I get nothing, I make Char recite a few lines from the Declaration of War speech (against Japan of all countries) and i get nothing. It's no fun if there's no one to tell you that you suck just to be a dick.

I want to be discriminated upon!! >_< Seriously...Steakslim is lonely o.O
