I agree completely.
But anyway...
Nearly half of the videos I've made use Christian artists.
My
Let it Make Me Strong vid uses Steven Curtis Chapman (great artist, btw). The song isn't obviously Christian at first, but it comes out in a few lines. And the anime, Trigun, isn't exactly a religious show, but Wolfwood's cross and a church are shown. Rem is also seen wearing a cross. And while I couldn't exactly relate some of the lyrics perfectly to the show, Vash does have some Christian values that made the song work for the video.
One Day uses another Christian artist, FFH. Oh My Goddess isn't a Christian show, either, but I made the song work anyway.
Lifehouse is Christian, and we all know there's plenty of Hanging by a Moment videos out there. I used two of their songs for videos ("Hanging by a Moment" and "Spin").
The artist I used for my In My Arms Again video, Michael W. Smith, is also Christian. But the song itself talks about love between two people, although there's the line "and like a prayer you came to me".
Even my and my sister's comedy video uses a Christian artist, Relient K. The song isn't religious though.
Switchfoot is an awesome artist. There's a great Rurouni Kenshin vid done to
This is your Life.
And I've seen the odd vid done to "I Can only Imagine" by MercyMe. There's actually quite a few, if you just look up some of the more popular Christian rock artists. Very few of them actually have religious meaning, though.
