Gambitt doesn't know what he's talking about - we don't actually use effects in videos. I was lying about the footage from Playground Love - we actually found that playground in rural North Carolina. It was abandoned, so we didn't need to get permits. We shot on an old discontinued Kodak color stock, and had the lab process it dirty with the color removed. That isn't Lightwave. I swear. You can trust me. Also, all of Gambitt's effects are found footage. He went through the trash when Anime Crash shut down and found some weird corrupted tapes, DVDs, and even some film stock. It was bizarre.

This will be my 7th shot now. Goodnight.

Yea, right..sure.... That's about as correct as my story of my video Transcending Love was actually an abondonded crossover anime project I found in a dumpster in a back alley behind the Long Beach convention center at AX in 2001.. There were not effects in it at all :P

I don't have time to read where this thread went, but to answer the original question: Search WinMX or Emule for "kanon MAD" "MADs" are Japanese fan music videos and a guy/guys/groups (I don't know who they really are) named Key and AK1 did some amazing music videos uses stills from the Kanon dating sim. and rediculous amounts of effects. They are VERY impressive. I can think of one called "Winter Planet" off hand ... Also there are some that use images from the dating sim game AIR that are very cool too ...
