For those who've heard of the anime or manga, this video is told from Hiiragi's perspective (the dark-haired guy), and is set to Finger Eleven's 'Suffocate.'

It's a little slow in the beginning, but picks up partway through. ^_^

/me gets

Let's see how this anime looks. ;p Although, I'm not sure I'll like the song. Never heard anything I liked from them. We'll see. ^_^

Heh, I have Brandy (soon-to-be-ex sister-in-law) to thank for the band, I actually like at least three of their songs now, because of her. ^_^;

As for the anime - aside from the blurs and fades (the anime has lots of its own flashback scenes), any quality issues are my fault. It's a very pretty looking anime, great animation. ^.^

Heh, I got to it first. ^.~

It's a short ova from the manga I'll/CKBC. The storyline is a little hard to follow since it has a *lot* of flashbacks, but the drama and animation are great for a short anime. ^_^

Heh, I can see why you might like this anime. Lots of pretty guys. ;p

Well, the song wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be but I don't really like it. So that counts against the video overall. However, I did really like the editing. Didn't get too much of the story though. -_- And it is a pretty video, even without excessive flashing and color changes. ^_~

The anime looks like it could be good. And you're not the first to make a good sports anime music video, Rubyeye made a great one with Princess 9 (I think that's what it's called). The video is Phenomenon. Sports anime have actually surprised me sometimes, from what little I've seen. I'm mostly basing this off Initial D, Battle Athletes, and Princess 9 though.

Anyway, good video. ^_^ Not great, but definitely worth watching. And I'm sure I'll get the story after I watch it a few more times.

Maybe. ^_^; I've watched the anime quite a few times now and I'm still not sure of the timeline for some of the flashbacks. I'd have to read the manga to know for sure. But yeah, the vid has it's own story of how I took the anime - whether that's accurate or not, I can't really tell. I'm still not sure if the first 'game' takes place before the ova episodes or after them (as a sort of 'intro' to the anime preceeding a 'flashback' ova story).

Regardless, it's a good anime for the characters and animation. The pretty guys don't hurt either. ;p

NICE vid ^^

I can't understand the story ~_~ , but of course I liked the editing , it's very consistent , enough number of flashes and fxs ^^ , and it's great because now you're making a few simple lip sync in your vids , it's good to get rid of just synchronism of ltrics or beats. :wink:

Ah , the ending I liked the ending too ^^

I'm glad you liked it. ^_^

And I did let some lip sync into this one - I was hoping that would make it easier to tell who the song is being 'sung' by, plus the dark-haired guy talks *constantly*. ^_^;; His mouth is almost always moving, so I had to make that work when I could. He's a very outspoken and angry character.

As for the story - I could tell you, but that would basically be giving the main idea of the anime. It's mostly that the pale-haired guy (Tachibana) left his team (and friends) to join another team because they were 'national' picks. He didn't think his old teammates were serious enough to do anything with their talent. Hiiragi (the black-haired guy) challenges them to a match, to prove that their team can be just as great as anyone without forgetting why they play - because they enjoy the game. It's pretty much one of those "you're doing the wrong thing, if beating you is the only way to remind you of your morals, then that's just what I'll do" stories. With a happy ending. ^.~
