Eh, I wouldn't go that far. This vid was made simple because I didn't think it *needed* anything flashy. But most of my simple story vids either feature obscure characters, obscure songs, or obscure male relationships - none of which are as easily watched as this vid. This one's sailormoon, sweet, and unless you hate the song, I think it might be a nice little watch for anyone who likes pretty romances. ^.~Also, it makes me wonder why I haven't gotten more Arigatomyna vids latelyI very much like the editing style because, from what I see, you're one of those 'Sufficiency Editors' - those who focus on the story/concept/feel of the vid rather than graphical/technological quality. This is a great example of a vid that's not nearly over-edited, but not nearly under-edited, either. Strikes a balance between simplicity and effectiveness.
Definitely! ^__^ I'm more used to editing songs that have a hard beat, so once the dramatic section rolls around - that's when I'm enjoying myself the most, and I do think it comes out. The only difference is that I didn't have action with this vid - so I could focus on drama instead of fast and flashy (eyecandy) cuts. Made it fun to work with.The vid really takes off from about 1/3 or 1/2 the of the way through.
