sweet Sailor Moon vid
Well, this is my first time using this anime, and since my footage is limited, I figured a romance would be in order. The vid features Dido's 'Here with Me' set to Chibi-Usa's romance with Helios (aka Pegasus) during the Super S saga. It's a fairly simple video, but I found it sweet.

Heh, this was the first 'anime' I watched, you know - I've been hoping to get my hands on some of it eventually. ^_^ And it's a sweet vid - that's as much as I'd say for it - simple and sweet and...probably a little different from my typical romance vids.Otohiko wrote:Arigatomyna does a Sailormoon vid?
I'll mark that one up for download shortly

That's exactly my situation and sentiment too; sadly, I'm too broke to afford the DVD's nowArigatomyna wrote: Heh, this was the first 'anime' I watched, you know - I've been hoping to get my hands on some of it eventually. ^_^

gah! I'm just chatting about anime now - sorry, can't get it until I'm done with school.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I got 2 dvds for 9.95 each at Wallmart - 6 eps on one, 3 on the other - not bad. Hopefully I can find more in that price range. ^.~Otohiko wrote:That's exactly my situation and sentiment too; sadly, I'm too broke to afford the DVD's nowArigatomyna wrote: Heh, this was the first 'anime' I watched, you know - I've been hoping to get my hands on some of it eventually. ^_^![]()

Well the techincal spelling would be Wal-Mart but who cares?I personally wouldnot buy anything related to my interests there, why?Because most of the anime thy sell is only edited(i have proof of Yu Yu Hakusho at least)same with music. And I plan on downloading this video a little later today.
(If I op it do i get moved up on your give opinion list?)

These dvds are the 'special uncut version' - says so right on the dvd case. ^.~Alex_Dragon wrote:Well the techincal spelling would be Wal-Mart but who cares?I personally wouldnot buy anything related to my interests there, why?Because most of the anime thy sell is only edited(i have proof of Yu Yu Hakusho at least)same with music. And I plan on downloading this video a little later today.
Heh, yeah. But you're already very high on my list (3 people ahead of you) and I've already downloaded your vid - so there's no need to do an exchange. You can if you *want* - but the editing here isn't anything complicated, so you may not like it much. ^_^;(If I op it do i get moved up on your give opinion list?)

No, I'm not really looking - I just happened to see these two dvds for about $2 per ep and liked the deal (those are some of my favorite episodes). I'm too poor to buy an entire set right now. Thanks, though. ^_^Rowen Kross wrote:hey if your looking for anime for cheep? i have found a sight with a decent selection for really cheap tenchi oav $25 shipping included. I got it pretty fast and it was exactly what i ordered all 13 eps uncut in english and jap. I saw all of tri-gun and bebop for like $31 uncut english dvds.

And, to be perfectly serious - wonderful little video. I've never been much of a SuperS fan, but this reminds me that even that season is one I liked a whole lot.
Also, it makes me wonder why I haven't gotten more Arigatomyna vids lately
I very much like the editing style because, from what I see, you're one of those 'Sufficiency Editors' - those who focus on the story/concept/feel of the vid rather than graphical/technological quality. This is a great example of a vid that's not nearly over-edited, but not nearly under-edited, either. Strikes a balance between simplicity and effectiveness.
The vid really takes off from about 1/3 or 1/2 the of the way through.
Many thanks Ari.
