Exactly. For the same reason a bunch of stupid Otaku will say 'I don't know what's wrong with him, he's such a baka.'

Because peppering what you say with another language makes you COOL.

Obviously you've never had the oppurtunity to hear 'Spanglish'... Whoever came up with that name is fucktarded....

Izumi! I Lub you! wait a minute... I put that in my last post... what do I do now?

Spanglish = official language of Miami.

It's funny...you start a conversation in English, switch to Spanish, and end it with a little of both. I have days where I can't remember the English words for things and other days where I can't string a sentence together in Spanish, which sucks for my poor abuela.

But then, I couldn't speak English when I first started school, so it makes sense.

It was still weird to see a whole paragraph of English in an untranslated manga...and such awkward English at that.

I'm far from bilingual; I only had 4 years of French in high school, and my memory of that isn't the best, even only two years later. But still, there are times when it just comes naturally to me to say "qu'est-ce que C'EST?" or "quoi?" in moments of extreme confusion. Among other examples.

LOL. Well that type of core french is rather iffy. I'm immersion, and half of family's french so I've grown up with it.
