Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Re: Having found the kanji...

Which works nicely for this vid since the boys are 15, and the relationships are not more physical than lending a shoulder to lean on. I call this one shonen ai rather than yaoi because it is just about the emotional relationship. If any physical is implied, it would definitely be on the lightest level. ^.~

[Just keep in mind that when most people use shonen ai or yaoi it doesn't have to match the literal Japanese kanji definition - no more than the use of the word 'anime' does. For fanwork (whether Japanese doujinshi or foreign fanfiction/vids) shonen ai = male/male romantic relations and yaoi = male/male physical relations which may or may not be romantic. That's just the way the words are used. Sort of like using lemon to denote a sex scene in fanfiction - the word doesn't mean the literal translation of a yellow sour fruit, not in this context. ^_^;; ]

Heh, I don't blame you, it's sappy. ;p

But if nothing else, I can claim originality here. GW may be used in a lot of vids, but this is the only one for these pairings I've ever found (and yes, I've looked through *every* GW vid listed on the org in the last year or two). Half the reason I made it was because I've been looking for a vid like this since I first watched the anime. ^_^

And where can't you claim originality? :?
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

DBZ vids. ^.~ Unless you count my first yaoi dbz vid. ;p

And YYH vids are 'overdone' now - though there were only about 15 available for download when I first uploaded mine.

And I've been told that romance = overdone, so that just kills 85% of what I make. And action = overdone, so there goes another 10% and even odd slightly funny = overdone so heck...the last 5% gone?

Yeah. ^_^ But within the overdone romance genre, this is a first, at least for this anime.

Genre and anime aside, all the vids I've seen of yours are original. Once I get my computer back, I'll get this one too.
