  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

First AMV - Kare Kano

Post by StarMasayume » Thu Jan 08, 2004 5:37 pm

Wow, I finally finished my first AMV! Much thanks to christmas break, the site, the guides, and the forums. ^__^ I think the hours worked on it have risen to 40 or 50 with trying to compress it with good quality (in which Xvid was my saviour) and trying to get it uploaded. ^_^;;

The anime... Kare Kano (or His and Her Circumstances)...
The Character? The lovable, jealous, tempermental, adorable Tsubasa...
The song? SALSA! ^_^

I wanted it to be fun, but wanted to show the more serious side of Tsubasa too and to tell her story. If you don't know who Tsubasa is, then I hope through watching this vid you can get to know her.

I'm very anxious for any comments/opinions. Especially with it being my first. Even though it was experimental, I put a lot of work into it. I'd appreciate any comments, suggestions, or helpful critiques--anything I'm doing wrong, anything I'm doing right, and even just your overall impression would be great.

Not bad. You got potential there. You just need to sync the scene cuts better with the beat of the music. The quality of the footage is pretty nice. :P

Thanks angel! :) Yeah, I know the synching wasn't perfect in some parts. I'll try to work harder at that for the next one.

Glad it was enjoyable to watch tom ^_^ Off topic, I love your Neia under 7 avator! And would you think about making your GTO and Princess 9 amvs downloadable? *puppy eyes*

Sorry you didn't care for it Wargames. Most of the vids I'll be doing probably won't interest you. Between my anime collection and my own preference, most will be comedy/fun or drama/serious or a mix. ^_^

>,< I'm starting my next project but am getting that darn "unrecognized exception" -- It's been driving me crazy all day trying to get my fruits Basket footage. Can you imagine being this annoyed though and hearing "I've got Sunshine" as I have it on repeat for my project lol? My there's some power in a happy-go-lucky oldies song that keeps you sane...
