And source footage is source footage! :?
LOL! Nice, and strangely enough, we seem to have relatively the same tastes Hitori

Though right now my wish list is far bigger than my actual collection.
*NOTE* Link does not include my vhs collection, or my Esca box set (since it doesn't include the french version).

Leave it to Hitori to be helpful.

But even though I have the NGE box set and the movies I will be spending the money on, as you guys have put it, the eight minutes of extra footage. I have a job so $50 is no big deal to me. Especially if it is for anime.

Debating if I want to get the Director's Cut, Still waiting on Haibane-Renmei DVD 4, and the rest of Macross Zero to come out.

Who Know, I've seen the cut scenes and it only adds a little to the story, no big plot changers or anything.

It'll be even funnier if we ever get Evangelion: Renewal. Then you'd theoretically have bought the 7th and 8th disc...THREE times. My advice is to wait and see if Renewal will *ever* come out in the states and if so, just buy that. I think we can all agree that ADV's encode is pretty shitty and if you're a fan, the encode of renewal is worth the price IMO.

ADV didn't do a shitty encode, they had shitty source.

Evangelion is like the same age as Gundam Wing...

Soooo...

What I don't understand is...

If this is the directors cut,
What was he doing on the first go around?

Damn companies,
They know just how to screw me out of my money.

And they win, I'll buy it :(

It's like the lord of the rings..
Buy 7 copies to get the super duper extended transmagrofied, double platinum, extra special, long edition of a movie i've already seen too much :(.

And yet I still buy it..
Good marketing.
