OK this thread is dedicated to listing some of the most intense, heated or stupid rivalries in anime. I'll start it off:

Makoto Mizuhara and Katsuhiko Jinnai - El Hazard

So any other rivals you guys can list?

(I get the strange feeling there will be alot of Goku and Vegeta's posted)

Naru vs. Mutsumi- Love Hina (they were kind of rivals for Keitaro)
Kyo Kusanagi vs. Iori Yagami- King of Fighters
Ryoko vs. Aeyeka- Tenchi Muyo
Sol Badguy vs. Ky Kyske- Guilty Gear X
Rugal Bernstein vs. KOF roster- King of Fighters
Parn vs. Ashram- Record of Lodoss War
