My knowledge of the actual episode is hazy (I got this second-hand from my older brother who caught the ep fansubbed)

Apparently, in order to reach one of the black star balls they had Trunks dress like a woman and marry an alien ("I hope my father doesn't see this...")

Of course, Funi cut this part amongst their paring down of the first 15 or so eps (perhaps for the better...this many gay Trunks jokes already without the mention of that scene...)

Yep, I caught that episode (the first one - I think it was tbc and I only had the one) in an Italian episode a few years back. I couldn't understand a word they were saying, but the preview definitely showed what looked like Trunks, in a dress. ~_~ Too bad he cut his hair, he wouldn't have had to wear that awful wig.
