Jolt owns you.

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

ya know, its realy stupid to work hundreds of hours on an amv, becasue, if you do, then itl just end up stressing you out and you'll probably never finish it. and when people say taht they spend 2-4 weeks on an amv, they dont mean 2-4 weeks straight. i mean, their are things like work.school sleep, freinds, otehr hobies and the rest of life. mainly i work on an amv on weekends, sualy realy early (about 2am) in the morning, an amv takes me 2-3 weeks to finish, but thats becasue i hardly do any work on it on 5 of the 7 days i have.
oh and. id have to say pepsi. the original, not the shity pepsi max.

Yes but even then it takes more than 3 hours to make something half decent. 3 days of hard work can easily be enough time for a good vid, but in 3 hours there isn't the time to:Arigatomyna wrote:I don't believe it either, but I do think part of the reason people think you have to use the best, and you have to put in endless hours is to explain why their own work may be flawed. It's the easy way out.
Think up a good idea for a vid
Rip dvds
Find the right footage for the vid
Time up the music and the footage
Set up an avisynth script to deinterlace the source
Encode
That's excluding potential crashes and mistakes. To make anything good you need to put a reasoanble amount of time into it. Obviously you don't need to put hundreds of hours into it (though a perfectionist might want to) but there's no way you can fit the process into 3 hours like our little troller friend claims.
