I personally don't mind copy cats as long as they can IMPROVE on it, otherwise it's like, "Why did you waste your time?" The only thing that would really bother me, is if they were doing a cheap rip off simply to try and boost their own popularity...although given the nature of most of my AMVs that'd be fairly impossible to do, unless they quite literally copied footage from one of my videos.

One thing I have thought about doing is making a remaster of Engel. If I did though, I'd probably stay pretty true to the original but fix a lot of the lip synching. Don't get me wrong, the lip synching in Engel is just fine, it's just in various portions it cuts off, usually when there's head motion involved. Since I'm so good at doing head motion lip synching though I've been thinkin it might be fun to rework it a bit. And obviously I'd use better quality footage and audio source, although I might leave in that lil audio buzz sound thing, that's just classic ^_^

I dunno know if I actually will or not, it's just one of many ideas I've been playin around with.

When I saw that edd video on the new vid on the block section I thought about your video. But then I was like, 'Naah, what're the chances that he copied her vid'. My faith in humanity just dropped a few more notches

Now that the ORG has hosting, the newbies have it easy to upload anything, including their favorite AMVs. Most of the time, they don't understand that you upload your own videos, not your favorites or someone else's. Other times however, it's people trying to get credit for something they did not do.

but that's not what they did..they did a vid themselves and more or less ripped off her vid (granted they did their own editing and such but the idea was still the same..even down to the name)..which btw Caliet did a MUCH better job of...

I find it funny that they cal;led the song "Get the Cool Shoeshine" instead of the actual title.
