Melatonin by Kusoyaro gets my engines reving. I wouldn't call it depressing but it sure is powerful.

If no one's mentioned it yet, the Rurouni Kenshin OAV AMV to Soul Asylum's "Misery" by Sakkaku Studios. I've never even seen the OAVs, and I still thought it was a horribly depressing vid. (But a good one.)
