Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

This is a YYH video set to Alanis Morissette's 'Uninvited.' Told from Kurama's point of view, the vid looks at his poor track record when it comes to partners and his views of Hiei. More details in the vid description.

I think YYH is one of the best "feel-good" animes of all time and i really think your videos for it draw that mood out.

However before i DL this one i want to make sure its not a yaoishy thing ( no offense intended im just not a fan of that :P)

Heh, it's good you asked first. Yeah, there's a mood of shonen ai in the vid. But the theme is partners - Youko Kurama's view of Hiei as a potential partner to replace the others he's had (fighting partners, not sexual - running mates if you think of them as demons). The song's a romantic one, but it's basically Alanis as God looking at the people who worship her - so it you look at it that way, the romance isn't the same as physical stuff.

Egh, I don't know if it's too strong or not - I haven't had much feedback about the theme. Your best bet? ^_^ If it squicks you, you might not want to take the risk. ^_~

[And I definitely agree about the good feel of the anime - it has just the right mix of angst, action, and fun.]

^_^;

I'd hope the video doesn't put you to sleep, but if it does, then at least it's good for something, right? ^_~

[Don't burn yourself out with that video you're working on.]

Thank you! ^_^ I'm glad you liked it.

The song just fits my idea of them very nicely.

Plus, I've been listening to that song constantly for about a month now.

Ooooh, spooooky.

Lol. ^_^;;

I'd marked this song a few months ago for the story here, but it wasn't till a friend of mine suggested it that I remembered. It's just a beautiful song. ^_^
