Is anyone else this addicted?

Since the beginning of the Dangling Carrot and local downloads, I've downloaded about 700 videos locally, not to mention the countless direct and indirect downloads during and before that period. Is anybody else as addicted as I am to great (and not so great) AMV's? How many have you downloaded locally so far?

I'm addicted to the great ones, but I try to stay away from the crappy ones. Thus I only download stuff I see doing well on the top stars page, or stuff recommended to me by word of mouth.
I watch some videos every single day though ^_^

If I can, I try to download from the Direct links instead of the Local ones so that I'm not just relying on the Carrot. Sounds odd yeah but it's something my mind tells me to do. Maybe I don't even know why I do this.

Not many actually since I have a 56k and it takes forever. I try to dl the ones I have heard are pretty good, etc.

I don't think I'm that addicted but I have close to 12 GB of music videos on my hard drive.

I download only the top-quality videos. Then if I like them SO much, I burn them into VCDs so I can play them on my TV. This is my way of spreading anime to other people. 8)

ive downloaded over 200 AMV's all but 30 of which are complete crap. I actually only admire about a dozen amv's such as Gundam - Feuer Frei and Engel - Evangelion. Most AMV's I watch just once and delete, but the good ones I will loop and watch over and over for hours. I have seen the Engel - Evangelion AMV about 500 times I think. (100 in one sitting).

Anime makes the best music videos. As our membership grows and grows (over 100k now) and Anime becomes more and more mainstream, I think its only a matter of time before MTV catches on and creates a few proffesionally. I dont even like normal music videos.

theres a new zealand band that made an AMV, it was a mock up of DBZ it was realy funny

i have about 50 AMV's i would have as much as you guys but i am restricted by a 20gb hard drive (witch has 2gb left) and a 56k modem witch i only have 250 hours a month!!! i use that in aboout 20 days!

I am not as addicted to Dl's as i used to be. I'm more have a problem with the creation side. Social life, work, food, drink, breath all of which take the backseat to Premiere.
