ok guys, about the song. i had the CD on loan from a friend, i riped all the tracks in pure WAV format, the orignal song is somethign like 4 mins long. im remixing it to expand it, but im using one of the remixs that came on the CD to do this with, as the CD has 4 difrent versions of this song. i choose the one that closly fit the format of the orignal song, but has a very unique feel to it. The cut/cross fade from the orignal and the new is flawless and if it isent ill eat my hat. the new lingth is something like 8 1/2 mins. for thos who are fimilar with the CD its the hard rock remix, or track 12 *cuz i forgot to take down the names of the remixers, but ill track it all down* but it is still the sandstorm song, so nothings changed doomrider ^_~

i have the WAV and the mp3, but both are large, so sending it to whoever is going to be a dounting task for my poor little dile up, fourtunaly, i get to take my computer to a cyber cafe on the weekends and hook into a cable connection. so i need to get with you VegettoEX and set all that up.

also, about times, please remember that i already spent the money on the garlic JR DVDs, so where ever it happens to fall is what i get to do, cuz i cant spend any more money, i need every red cent for AWA ^_^

Question: will we all be workign in pairs for the blending from one persons part to the next? Example: person one and person two work togather to make their parts blend togather, then person two and person three work togather to make their parts bland togather...ect...ect... OR are we all going to just do our alotted time, and one person blends them all togather during making the final encode?

Hey XenoDrake,

Well, I want to hear the remix you did man...thanks for the time you put into it :p....

Now then, regarding your question. The project doesn't have set rules on how you want to coordinate with the person before or after your part, but of course, if you want the extra bang for the buck, you should try and talk with the people in front of you and behind you, to make sure you are all using the correct footage for your part (from beginning to end), and perhaps coordinate your scenes so they overlap in a special way. That's all I will say about it for now.

Once I recieve the remix from Xeno, I will go about slicing the sagas into specific time intervals in the song, and pass that info on....

Later.

PS: Xenodrake...get the Project DOOMRIDER banner in your sig....

Veggeto. I have experience running one of these style projects from the points of technicality and such... contact me on AIM or something, and I can try to explain the Ins and Outs.

I appreciate the offer :D

I think I'm pretty good on what I'm doing. I've been studying all the other projects, some of which I've even been a part of (DDR, Jet Set). I have specific specs I'm giving people, specific audio files I'm giving people, specific ways of contacting people, etc.

If I ever do need anything, I'll be sure to ask :) Again, thanks for the offer.
