NEW VIDEO COMING SOON : "OUTLAWS DON'T STOP"
Well Starwind and Hawkings just completed another video. It will be released sometime in the next 3-4 days. It is called Outlaws Don't Stop. he song used is Don't Stop Dancin' by Creed and the anime Outlaw Star. Before making any judgments about the video because of my previous creed videos I would like to say that this video is probably our best to date. It has DVD capture quality no pixelations and sound quality is great as well. The video unzipped is 207 MB. So I'm going to zip it and put it up for download. By the way before I go searching how to zip a file does anyone know how to do it here? I produced this video in MPEG 2 format because everyone had problem with MPEG1 and WMV format. Anyway I hope you guys enjoy it and it would be great if you could review and then I could review one of yours. That's of course when it is released. Also I noticed this is the first video posted on animemusicvideos.org to use Creed's Don't Stop Dancin'. Well hear from you later. Until then "YOU BETTER GET READY!"

Re: NEW VIDEO COMING SOON : "OUTLAWS DON'T STOP"
Uhm...that's a ridiculous size for a video. I also don't know anyone who distros at MPEG-2. Most of us go Xvid or MPEG-1 with filesizes between 30 - 80 MB. I don't believe I've ever seen you make an mpeg-1 and if you have and are still having issues you are either:genestarwind21122 wrote:The video unzipped is 207 MB. A) Using bad source (i.e.you compressed the DVD or are using DIVX or something bad)
B) You're not doing your final render correctly. You should use the settings in the guide and TMPGEnc with your final HUFYUV file.
It's quite easy to make a great quality MPEG-1. Not to be arrogant, but I find mine pretty good and I hate to be mean, but that's pretty much the standard lately
So yeah, I'd suggest NOT distro-ing a 200+ MB mpeg-2 file...oh also on fileplanet. I don't think many people are willing to subscribe to something to download a video.
Just my advice.

Did you not read what me or Vegitta just said? Most files are between 30 - 80 MB and look pretty damn good. You're obviously doing something wrong with your MPEG-1 encodes.genestarwind21122 wrote:Oh great news I just compressed it. It is now 189 MB and used winzip.
I might also add that not everyone can even play MPEG-2 correctly. It takes quite a bit of either hardware or software decoding through either a decoder card or intensive software decoding in WinDVD or PowerDVD. I assure you that not everyone has the video card or the computer speed to play the file correctly.
I (again) strongly suggest using MPEG-1 or Xvid and encode them correctly to get good quality encodes. At this rate, you're just going to get: A) People who won't download it b/c it's too large, B) People who can't play it or C) People who can sort of play, but it will be mis-timed.
The choice is yours. The tools and instructions are all there...just read them.

I have a WMV format that I really didn't want to use because this version is better than the MPEG-1 but worse than the MPEG-2 and is only 50 MB but the thing is the sound isn't perfect and the capture has some pixilation. Anyway as long as everyone does believe me that I have an MPEG-2 version that has perfect sound and capture that's great. Because I don't want to get reviews saying that the video is poor quality when I do have a better version available and besides I had to download windows media player 9 to play some of the new videos out there. It doesn't take that long to do that either. This video hear will work on windows media player 8. Plus the download is only going to be about 16 minutes. Because a 41 MB video takes 3:30 to download from this site so multiply that by 4.5 there's your download time. Which isn't to bad.

What kind of connection are you basing that on? It could take days for someone on 56K to get something like that. Not everyone has DSL or cable.genestarwind21122 wrote: Plus the download is only going to be about 16 minutes.
