Hey, I liked it! See, people have to learn that not all country music is automatically the same as the manufactured crap most radio stations play. Just like rock music or any other genre. I'm not much of a listener of country, but I know it doesn't automatically equal suck. 
Anyway, it's a pretty direct match of subject to anime, so of course that worked well. And apart from the title cards, I wouldn't have thought the beginning and end were THAT filler-y. Considering that the music changes at the beginning and end, and sort of forms bookends to the song... Eh, I wouldn't have noticed.
It's pretty dramatic and moving. I liked it. Thanks! 8)
