I've uploaded a new YYH amv, for Marilyn Manson's 'The Beautiful People,' and Yu Yu Hakusho. The vid features Hiei and Kurama in their final fights during the tournament arc (with a dose of Karasu footage) and a hint of the Hiei-Yusuke fight. Anyone unfamiliar with that part of the series should beware spoilers. I had a lot of trouble with the second half of this, (Showbiz is evil), but it's cool looking regardless.

Oooh, so you use ArcSoft's ShowBiz too?
Its actaully not that bad, the only things you cant really do with it is play clips bakword and use layers... There is a lot of neat effects you can use, though.
You could have put some more timing in to the vid and it seemed like you didnt do too too much editing... some parts looked like one whole part from the source (I havent seen YYH so I wouldnt know for sure if it was unedited or not), good quality though.

I couldn't use any effects at all, after I imported 78 clips (including the ones I cut apart) I had to convert any new clips from avi to mpg or they all turned white (a problem I've had consistently with Showbiz). By the time the maker stopped accepting avi clips it was going so slow that I was lucky to get the ending put on, and I couldn't play the vid to see if it flowed with the music because the 'preview' play was completely off the music track. I didn't get to see what scenes went with what lyrics and beat for the second half until I produced the video. And I couldn't preview my clips in Showbiz so I was editing them in VirtualDub, converting to mpg, importing, and pasting directly onto the project track. Yeah, it was one nasty mess. If it hadn't been for the first half I would have scrapped it. I'm going to stick with Windows Movie Maker 2.0 from now on (it doesn't have a limit to the number of avi clips imported and used in a single project - something ArcSoft hasn't been able to figure out when it comes to the version I have).

That is a really weird problem... but dont give up on it, ShowBiz is way way better than wmm. Yes, it dosent like .avi format and it tends not to play the video and audio in sync, but it dose have lots of effects. Unless you have an older version or something
To fix the sync problem you just have to export it out, kinda a pain but I still think its better than using wmm.
I always convert my sources to .mpg then import them to ShowBiz and it runs smoothly... that way, not a whole lot of quality is lost and it saves a lot of head ache. And NEVER try to use wmv in ShowBiz... the thing can barely, just barely, read them. ShowBiz is an ass until you learn how to use it...
