- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My example introduction!
I finally got something online! This is an intro I've worked on just to give some ideas to you people. I don't know if something like this has been tried before, so I'm giving it a shot. This is just a test/example.
(NOTE: This is uploaded on Sony ImageStation. I think you'll have to become a member to view my folder and download it. Signing up is free and it doesn't take long at all. Sorry for the inconvenience.)
It is under the My AMVs folder.

Just because its on Imagestaion dont get descuraged! Here is a direct link for ya: http://www.imagestation.com/video/view. ... 70567&dl=1
Now all you have to do to download is "right-click" and go to "save target as"!
And just so other people can get their direct links from ImageStation, (note: if they ever find out they will ban you! But thats not likely, Ive had my direct links up for 4 months now), I have made up a detailed diagram telling you how to get the direct link: http://big_dude6.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/dld.jpg (copy that link to the address bar to veiw image.) Pass this image on to others!
Btw, pretty cool Intro although it is a little long. Good job.

I wouldn't do that if I were you, bigdude. I've heard on many occasions of peoples account getting terminated because of direct linking...

It took me A LONG TIME to do. I had originally planned to have everything typed out, but I couldn't fit it all in. I made a new picture file for EVERY letter and EVERY line in the progress bar. By line in the progress bar I mean a 1 pixel-wide line! The first row alone, with the "finding server" and the progress bar, was over 70 pictures! Then, there a total of 6 rows! Did I mention the LONG progress bar afterwards? That was WELL OVER 170 PICTURES!
I think this was a little TOO overdone as an intro. Do you notice all my STRESSES in my sentences? I'm just happy I'm able to share it with you all. I thought my "progress bar, connecting to a server to download the AMV" idea was very original.
