Well while milo had his moments he is nothing of the magnitude of retardation and self proclaimed l33tness that I've been going up against lately. Makes me appreciate him more

I agree with Mroni when the little shit should of just done some work. Rather then stealing from the farmer he could of just begged him to allow him to work for food.

Although, have to disagree with the hammer of justice thing. America didn't really have any loses in the war so had no right to vengance. If it was China that exacted revenge on Japan maybe yer.
But, History is written by the victor, its hard to say these days who's right and who's wrong. I even heard Japan had already surrendered before they dropped the nukes but since they went to all the trouble to make them they used em anyway.

As for Mr. Oni... we all know from his posts that he is a racist, a homophobe and centers all his judgements on his own narrow viewpoint of the world.

I can at least sit here and defend every statement I make.

I can at least write at length why I feel the way I do, why I have the opinions I have and why I reach the conclusions I reach.

Reading your posts, it's very easy to feel elitist/superior/whatever term you'd like to toss my way.

Reading your posts, I am glad to see that you don't even know the english language that well. This would have to be my assumption since you have so blatantly posted a distortion of what I have actually said.

I have NEVER said that Grave of the Fireflies is one of the greatest works of art and that you HAVE to like it.

Personally, I do believe that it is an excellent movie and I think it is one of the more poweful pieces of anime to come out of Japan...

however...

All the angry statements I have made were aimed at the comments that Mr. Oni made about the kids deserving to die... and that the citizens of Japan all deserved to die from fire bombing and the like because they had the nerve to live in a nation who's leaders attacked us.

I consider human suffering to be horrible... and while some think that killing children is OK... just so long as it's not American children... I consider the empty headed thinking of such hate mongers to be attrocious... but that's because I was brought up by parents who believed in the ideas of ethics and basic human decency.

If my views are so bothersome to you... well... so the fuck what?

I consider the views of Mr. Oni to be reprehensable as well and I have no problem saying that, because I live in a country where I can speak my mind.

Do you have ANY understanding of what was going on at that time? Do you know what Japanese culture was like during that wart time. He couldn't get a job, he shouldn't have even had to be put in that position!
