Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Horner's good, but after Gladiator, I'd have to go with Hans Zimmer as my fave (after John Williams :D ). In fact, I would love to use the battle music for a vid, but it's 8 minutes long.

Anyway, nice vid. I need to rewatch it so I can give a good op.

One of the songs I used for this video (All Systems Go - The Launch) was over 9 minutes long. Luckily it had several distinct sections so it wasn't that painful to remix. As for Hans, I have been impressed by some of his newer works such as Black Hawk Down. I even used some of Gortoz A Ran-J'Attends in my old bumper.

Metro,

I enjoyed your video! I took some time to download a few others, you have a lot of talent. I enjoyed your Macross AMV, as well as your very potent Eva AMV. I appreciate your attention to subtle detail and emotions.

Thank you,

I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. Any word on when you will be getting back from Saudi?

Thanks for the kind words. I do try to include a lot of detail in my videos and convey a strong sense of emotion. Although sometimes I wonder how subtle I am

We leave when they tell us, and they won't tell us, so it is getting to be pretty fun listening to the rumours.
On the plus side, since being here I have seen Eva from beggining to end around twenty times

I definetly reccomend that you see the rest of it. Even if you don't like it, eva gets talk about alot. I mean hell, there always seem to be 2 or 3 threads over on General Anime talking aobut Eva.

then of course once you have seen the series you can watch my Eva vid
