Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

No-Brand Videos vids + M:IP Segments

Post by Ashyukun » Thu Apr 17, 2003 2:05 pm

I'm simply too lazy to type up something new for all of the rest of my older videos (and to short on time before I need to start the drive up to Anime Boston), so they're all going in this post. :P

Before I knew there was The 'Org, actually, before The 'Org existed, I made a bunch of AMVs with several of my friends in college. We got an idea for the first video, went in and learned how to use Premiere (4 something, at that point) on the blazing fast Pentium 200 video editing machine in the library with 96MB of RAM (the most we'd seen), and proceeded to have a blast making 5 AMVs before school got the best of our free time. Thanks to the Carrot/Donut, four of those five original videos of mine, done under the studio "No-Brand Videos", are now available for your viewing enjoyment. Two of them have been remastered from DVD- two I still need DVDs I can't get yet (and may never be able to...). The one remaining that is missing should be online within a month. So, without any more boring typed drivel from me, here are the vids, a blast from my past and that of AMVs in general. All downloads are local- if you can't download yet, why not send your self and email reminding yourself to download them on Monday! :)

Eden 12/24 (DVD Remaster)

Finally, the two segments I did for the original Mission : Improbable Project are also up locally. The Battle Athletess segment was my official segment done for and included in the project; The Afro Ken segment was done as a possible replacement for a segment there was concern would not be finished in time. Both are short, and confusing, given they're only 25 seconds from the middle of an over 7 minute long song. But, still amusing viewing:
