Creators Discusion number 1 million
But with a twist, rather than complaining about their ethics and behavior, what I want to know is how open they are to listening, particulary the area of constructive criticism, and how willing people are to try and give them honest advice.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

First of all, what in particular are you even talking about?CaTaClYsM wrote:But with a twist, rather than complaining about their ethics and behavior, what I want to know is how open they are to listening, particulary the area of constructive criticism, and how willing people are to try and give them honest advice.

Giving constructive criticism, or accepting constructive criticism?
Common advice I give people:
Slow down and pay attention to what you're doing.
Edit on impulse, undo buttons are there for a reason.
Watching your video source will help more than listening to your audio source.
Caffine and Alcohol don't make for good drinks, plenty of water.
AMV perfection is an asymptote.
It's always the ISPs fault.
They're all pretty useless but...

My common advice:
Read the guides
Don't use Premiere's export
Now that we have the Carrot, there's no excuse for .rm and .wmv files
More beat matching
If you're going to use an overdone anime, do something original with it

If something sucks, I tell them it sucks, otherwise they'd get away with having a sucky thing in their sucky video. Oh yeah, I also tell them they suck if their ego is way too high. Keep em in check, ya know? Now, whether I can receive criticism or not... well... no. I can't. I am the best there is. I don't know how to suck. NO ONE CAN STOP ME!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!
