Heh No I don't know any. But what I do when I made a video for GTA III, was attach the PS2 to my DV Capture box and capture the scenes I wanted. But I lost a lot of quality doing that so I probably wouldn't suggest that for you.

I've successfully used PSMPlay, but that only works for the older format of cut scene, newer games are designed so that the files can't be found easily.

I use PsxMC. It works a good amount of the time. The other amount of the time is when it's closing by itself and messing up my comp, forcing me to restart.
But that's mostlly thanks to the fact that I still have the beta. :P

Check out <A HREF=http://www.h-mkb.com/cgi-bin/lime/lime. ... C242>PSXMC 2.42</A>.

This is a direct download link to the latest version. I like this way better than that PSMPlay crap. There's also a shareware 3.14 version but I'm guessing you want the free and non-trial version. The website is in Japanese though. But the software will be in English so don't worry.

And as a note to people, Quu's guide is actually rather old so some of the things in there have been outdated. I talked to Quu and he said that he abandoned the project.

So, with his and Phade's permission I am currently in the process of updating that guide, although very slowly. It will even include how to get PS2 footage.

Why not have them thank me now? :)

Why they made it FFX2MOV instead of FFX2AVI is beyond me. But they're programmers, not video guys, so I guess that's ok.

Kinda like a video editor asking a network programmer to "make the Internet better". :P
or something like that.

That's no excuse, any programmer should know atleast the basics of video editing. Just like they are also supposed to know how to create and render 3D Models, aswell as be able to code for them.
