Anime Star Wars DDR Type thing

I came up with this idea a while back, i decided I would wait till the episode II DVD's came out to start it. It's finally come out and i'm starting my biggest project to date.

Does anyone remember when those Episode II TV spots were out? They showed various main characters and gave their specifications. and then it went something like, Profession....BOUNTY HUNTER. Remember those? Well i'm starting a project of replacing those star wars shots, keeping the specifications and replacing it with anime characters.

You can view the TV spots at http://www.starwars.com/episode-ii/vide ... cials.html Most of them we are going to use. We are not using War, Jedi, Anakin's Story, Padme's Story or Forbidden Love because they arn't using the "Profession" format. There is also one that is not on the list, Yoda.

We're going to have a different anime for every TV spot, so if an anime has already been chosen by someone else you have to pick another one. Also if you would like to include a character that someone has already chosen into your TV spot thats ok. For example Sai is putting Spike into his TV spot with Utena since his TV spot has a fight between his and mine.

Three spots with different anime's have already been chosen.

Jango Fett with Spike from Cowboy Bebop
Padmé Amidala with Excel from Excel Saga
Obi-Wan Kenobi with Utena from Revolutionary Girl Utena

Oh I forgot, I have the VOB's for all the TV spots so when you chose it i'll send it over to you through AIM.

Yeah, I remember this project idea, of course back then, War, Jedi, Anakin's Story, Padme's Story or Forbidden Love were going to be a part of it...because I signed up for War..

i had to take those out because it's pretty inconsistant. You know what I mean. Hey, if theres a demand to have those in it...i'll think about it.

This sounds like it will be a lot of fun. I like nice, short vids, especially when I can have fun with them like this should be. I've already bounced it off PaperSkunk and gotten approval for it, so here's what I'll be doing:

Mace Windu with Samurai Jack

Yes, it's stretching the definition of anime... but, it just seemed to work too well to not do.

I haven't watched all the other spots, but if there's a scene with Mace in it from another of the spots, I'll be happy to work with the other editors to find a good scene for it.
