Feedback on cataloged Anime Music Videos

Hallo da,
this one was actually made for the 3 day iron chef "Iron Effects" in 2015 but I kinda liked it and so I polished it to send it to the Anime Messe Berlin this year. No idea if it won something there ... maybe they'll tell me someday ¦D

Apart from that I can say that I've wanted to edit a video to this song for probably 10 years. So the IC was a good chance to finally do it. Also Hanamonogatari is kind of a perfect match for it in my opinion.

The lip-sync feels a bit weird, but it's actually more on point than you might think. I think that's because of the way the video is cutted. Your eyes don't really have a chance to focus on the lip-sync because you get thrown into lip-sync mid-speech and it gets cut away mid-speech. Give it another watch, it might feel better then.

One of my favorite videos of the past 12 months. The music is so cool. 8-) 8-) I call hacks on that such a fitting source existed. The melancholy of the song resonates perfectly in this character.

If I think about it, some of the narratives in the series are riddiculously good but you might be the first I've seen that managed to put them in a vid like that. You did it! :up:

I didn't enjoy this, sorry man :/ The visual rhythm didn't seem to match the rhythm of the song at all, and unfortunately that's one of the trickiest things about editing with hip-hop. The video just felt way too slow to me. My bigger issue though was that there didn't seem to be a lot actually going on in the video...like half the video was just static or near-static shots of the girl lip syncing. It just wasn't very engaging to me. I will say you captured the mood of the song quite well, and the lip syncing itself was fine, but overall this just didn't grab me like I was hoping.
