  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I feel that the first 50 seconds would have benefited from one or two more scene changes, but overall the video still had a really nice feeling and I'm definitely curious about the anime now. It was short, but still a nice edit

It's done very nicely. I wish there was more footage so this could have been longer. Great job!

Truth be told, I'd only have done the last minute if I could have, but it badly needed some kind of buildup to it, and thus I tried to make the first 50 seconds work somehow.

Well, there are still a few good amv scenes in those ~20 minutes of runtime, they just didn't fit in here, especially because I wanted to keep it spoiler-free (and so I only used "half" of the anime; if you watch it you might understand what I mean). :P

Yes! Seems like this can get people interested in Ishida Hiroyasu's works and Studio Colorido in general. :)
This is Hinata no Aoshigure, and I'd say it's a very good anime, but I strongly suggest you to check out Typhoon no Noruda as well when it'll be out, because I think that it will top this one.
For other stuff to watch, I'll send you over here:

http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?sh ... orid=10745
You can find Fumiko no Kokuhaku and Rain Town on Ishida's YouTube channel, Paulette no Isu on noitaminA's YouTube channel and Fastening Days on YKK Global's YouTube channel, so I'd say start with those since they're the easier ones to come across and watch. ;)

Nice sauce, will take a look at it when i have some time. Other than that simple vid but editing was a bit too lazy fort my tastes. But i guess it wasnt the point here :P.
Still better than that MMO.

I like this, more because it introduced me to this animation studio than anything else. The video was good, but I really wish it had been longer. I know you were working with an 18-minute source, but it really was more of a tease than anything :P

As long as it gets the point across ("go watch Hinata no Aoshigure/Studio Colorido's stuff") that's more than enough for me. :bear:

Then perhaps I should add teaser as a genre. :asd:
