- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I Was Happy
Next one! Visual quality snobs need not apply -- this is an (intentionally) uuuugly video, so just FYI. It's also really slow, and set to an '80s sophisti-pop song; I have a feeling most of you out there may not like it all that much based on the music alone. But for the two of you who like this kind of thing...well this one's for you!

Re: I Was Happy
This was quite refreshing, I'm glad to see that some will go back to basics and make something like this even if it's not what they're use to.
Honestly lately it feels like all I see is fast, modern HD stuff and my head is starting to hurt but this was a nice break from all that.
The music was a big part of that relief as it just fit. A pleasant change from the usual, thanks.

I liked the mellow pace of this a lot. I have a headache tonight and I can't think of a single AMV I'd actually want to watch right now but this one went down easy and was pretty enjoyable. The visual quality seemed fine to me and I liked the transitions and how you used color/b&w.
Smooth AMVs for classy people.

A simple video that simply works.
Well...geeze, thanks, lol. Honestly would not have expected anybody to say that, much less you, but just goes to show I don't know anythinglolligerjoj wrote:Goddammit this is absolutely great

Thank you! Glad you liked it -- I'm not generally a fan of really fast editing (I don't usually prefer action videos if I have a choice), and these days those types of videos tend to just be too much for me, and don't interest me at all. That said, making something really slow was really a challenge, and I think this could have stood to be even a little slower than I made it. Still, thanks for watching and commenting!UnluckyArtist wrote:This was quite refreshing, I'm glad to see that some will go back to basics and make something like this even if it's not what they're use to.
