Come into work and my manager asks to talk to me and tells me that the clients loved me because in just my recent 50 sales alone I had made them a 25% profit, so they wanted a copy of my script to see exactly what I was doing to try and help others who were finding it difficult. Being told you make the most profit for a company out of a huuggge bunch of people, it was just wow. I was really shocked and happy at the same time because I honestly thought I wasn't that good at what I do, so I was so happy to hear that. ;___;

In the year and some odd months that I've worked at my current job, I've played ping pong against one of my co-workers countless times, but had never won..... HAD... never won. Today, the streak has been broken. I feel like I should get the rest of the day off.

Chilled with my best friend and buddies last night for her birthday. We got a sushi boat, which was delicious. Then, we loaded up on snacks and liquor and took them into the theater to see ParaNorman and Premium Rush. Bonus awesomeness is the fact that we were the only ones there. Double bonus is that I have today off, so I get to be all cozy 'n lazy 'n stuff.

The only negative was that I had to be up at 5 AM yesterday for work (7-4, super short-staffed, BUSY day), and I didn't get to sleep until around 3 AM today with the festivities. I was freakin' exhausted. I think I may have actually fallen asleep whilst my head was in midair on its way to the pillow.

YAY. Somebody at work (someone vital) quit and got a better job (YAY for them too), so my job may no longer be in jeopardy. Got the call about 30 minutes ago from a coworker and I did a very silly and girly masculine jig. |:>

Received one piece of swag this weekend. A signed poster from my favorite band, Parabelle.

Copied this from my facebook status that was posted roughly a week ago, I still feel happy about it~

Today I went to Burwood Westfield (a mall in my local area) to do my usual grocery run when I saw a Japanese High School Girl (on exchange), just walking around the shopping centre. The Sailor Fuku, bow, all there. Very rare to see in Burwood considering I see most of them in the city.

Anyways, at the same time, there were these three high school kids (2 guys and 1 girl) sitting on a bench, being very loud that anyone within a 15m radi
us could hear them. They were quite annoying to hear, but nevertheless, I had my headphones on, so I couldn't hear the full force of their annoying voices. Some shoppers were nearby sitting on other benches, just watching them with annoyances.

Then as I walked by the annoying bunch whom were getting up from their seats and the Japanese Girl was coming closer to me in the opposite direction, one of the guys yelled out to the girl, which was audible to me through my headphones:

"Wow, you look stupid with that get up! Going sailing?" The poor Japanese Girl seemed to understood that because she stopped in her tracks, shocked. A security guard nearby noticed this.

Noticing this, and without thinking, I took off my headphones, I looked to the two guys and blurted out:

"Excuse me... stupid? At least she looks presentable and punctual unlike you lot with your shirts tucked out, school cap pointing the other way as though you got fondled badly by some mad man."

Before he could say anything, the people around me erupted in applause while the security guard lured them out. I had just severely embarassed them in front of the public.

As for the Japanese Girl, she couldn't stop saying thank you to me. I said it was all good. Then she said to me (Following isn't the exact words due to her broken English, but fixed up):

"Sorry, I have to rush back home to do my homework. But are you usually around here?"

I said: "Yeah, its my local mall"

She then, proceeded to get a piece of paper out of her bag and wrote her e-mail address on it. She gave it to me and said "My name is Maya. What is your name?"

"Renato"

"Nice to meet you Renato. Sorry, I have to go now, but thank you very much!" She bows to me and leaves.

One of the shoppers near me saw this and said "You just made a new friend pal, good job on defending that poor girl".

Day made?

HELL YEAH.
