Re: Why are you in such a good mood?
Those were the longest couple of days of my life. It feels more like several weeks, and I'm still dead tired. We packed and moved the entire house in one day. I ended up throwing out probably half of my stuff; my mother was not so willing with her things. (Honestly, a four bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment? Come on, Mom, be realistic.) Despite that, this is in the happy thread because all of this exhaustion means that I am now comfortably settled into an apartment - with hot water and electricity, neither of which I have possessed in some time now.
Of course, I could stand to have a decent, home-cooked meal (my cooking, that is), but one thing at a time...
There are still a lot of bumps to be smoothed out. I wouldn't be so quick to breathe a sigh of relief just yet. The financial situation continues to be shaky, Mom and I are still in a gritty patch of our relationship, and I probably owe my sister and her husband until the end of time (without them, we would be homeless right now), but for the moment, I can sleep fairly soundly at night.

It does suck to part with your "stuff", but that's all it is. Stuff.
If I were to only live with a laptop and clothes, I'd be pretty happy. Stuff is a pain in the ass and this is speaking from a former obsessive collector/packrat.

Re: Why are you in such a good mood?
I sung "Old Man River" at my recital. . . Apparently. . . everyone loved me and Eli's performance. . .
I never had so many people cheer for me just because I sang one song *_* Put me in a very awesome mood, though because apparently everyone was like "Did you see that tall kid?? I totally didn't believe he could sing that song! It was amazing" xD So many strangers congratulating me.
Even my parents were sitting in the audience asking themselves: "Where did that come from?!"
The funniest thing about this is that I have never taken lessons in singing before. . . This song was picked at random and literally at the last minute. . . And, somehow, people liked it a lot *_* awesome!

Happy birthday Mkid!
Uh... Stress level is at an all time low for the first time in AGES, and I'm hoping to seriously get some good "me" time shortly. Got a vacation/graduation to look forward to now. :3

Just booked my flight for AWA, so I'm all set for that weekend beyond putting in my vacation request. And season 2 of MLP is now on netflix. Not that I don't already have all the eps, but it makes it a little easier to catch certain eps when I don't have my copies with me. Watching the 2nd part of the season 2 finale, so much fun

Re: Why are you in such a good mood?
Despite all the crap going on at work, I've been doing my best to calm the situation by writing "I'll do my best to get on it, blah blah blah" type emails.
One of my coworkers came up to me and said I write really good emails. How did I get so good at it?
I ran a high traffic DBZ website for over 3 years where I was constantly answering emails on why SSJ3 Goku couldn't beat Brolly.
Who knew that making websites about kid's anime shows would equate to real working skill sets?

I can graduate happy today knowing that one of my favorite editors complimented my work (idk if compliment is the right word, actually. But it made me really happy!) So, I'm off to graduation today and get an A.A. Degree
