I like PC for FPS, beyond that I've pretty much migrated over to console.

The PS3 was the first console I had in this generation, so that's where a majority of my games are on, but I'll admit that I specifically rented Skyrim for the 360 so I didn't have to deal with the install/update bs. I also regret not buying Dragon Age for the 360 in hindsight.

Plus, if you DO want to install it, you can do it after you play it while you're sleeping.

I also wish I had a PC capable of playing games (well, I do, but my graphics card is the only thing that's keeping me back, and it's integrated, so I don't think I can upgrade either...).

You could install a dedicated card and turn off the integrated graphics (that option should usually be in the BIOS, but sometimes you have to let Windows take care of it). That's what I had to do with mine - which has Intel i810e integrated graphics (deactivated through Windows) and a dedicated GeForce 6200 in it.

That's a desktop, though.

Amusingly enough, I got Skyrim for the PS3 because I was sick of the "360 RPG Lottery" where the system had a nice little tendency to freeze after playing for a while. Now, of course, Skyrim is pretty much broken due to the patch, so I'm waiting on the NEW patch.

Haven't run into the "have to update every time I turn the thing on" issue in a LONG time tho. Although I wish EA would fscking update Dead Space 2 on all the platforms. That bug in chapter six RUINS the game, and damned if I'm gonna restart to avoid it.

It's pretty cold here, even for California standards. I have sensitive skin that doesn't respond well to the cold and it ends up all dry and bruised in this weather.

I put lotion on my hands and ended up in agonizing pain for about an hour as the lotion seeped into the bruised parts. I want summer back.

Finally ordered a pair of work shoes that I thought were going to be perfect because of the stellar reviews they've gotten. Didn't even come NEAR to fitting. I knew that the brand ran a little small, so I ordered a half size up. Nope. Still at least a full size too small, if not more, and I'm not even sure if the workmanship is worth a second chance.

To my luck, the site does have free, incredibly fast shipping and returns, so I can just try again, but seriously, what a fucking pain. Literally. In my feet. : /

Fixed that for you, because California gets weather like no other state... it's getting fairly cold here, close to 0 at night.

People here in hawaii are so spoiled...we complain about 60°F weather for cry in out loud. We call rain "hawaiian snow". I've never even seen actual snow in my life!
