Re: Vent Thread
Argh. FedEx is seriously annoying me right now. The last two packages I've had sent through them have sat in the local distribution facility for three days before they even make the first delivery attempt. Last time at least they had the courtesy of scanning the package once a day in their facility and making a note on the tracking site "Package not due for delivery." This time, nothing since Saturday.
I've called their customer service number, confirmed it should have been delivered on Saturday, and gotten a case number for the problem, so hopefully the package will arrive tomorrow. And with luck, I've lit a fire under their asses to keep it from happening again. Which would be a good thing, since most of my Christmas shopping will be coming FedEx because that's who the online merchants use.

Re: Vent Thread
Work at 6 AM today. I had to wake up at 4. It's not that I mind an early shift, but rather that it's being put into a schedule that's always 1-8 or 3-8 PM. I know I have to learn how to open the bakery eventually, and this shift will be once in a blue moon even after it is learned, but still. SLEEPY. DO NOT WANT.
The upside is that I get to work with Pat, who is a nice older lady that is reasonable and easy to get along with, unlike some of the deli workers. The downside is that I haven't worked in bakery since my first three days of work (about three weeks ago), so I'm hoping that I remember as much as I think I do.

Re: Vent Thread
I simply don't understand it. Youtube plays like shit when I get home, even though at work/school, it plays fantastically. I know our ISP isn't fantastic, but it's barely any lower than the connections I have at work/school. I thought it might be a browser problem, but it's not. I can't even get a 240p file to play without waiting 30+ minutes for it to load all the way. >_<

I finally pushed away my laziness enough to open the case and put Deadspace 2 in my PS3, and the system needs an update. Every time I turn it on, I swear. D:

That's why xbox > Ps3

I like to turn on my system wanting to play a game or watch something and be able to do it right away, not after 20-40 minutes while waiting for an update.
