Just had a talk with my new supervisor that work in my new dept may dwindle down a bit. I'm literally so fast and efficient, that they can't seem to give me more stuff to do. I'm ok for now, but that's never a good sign. I know a few more departments I can work for, but I feel like I'm gonna be a leeching dept hopper.

My original dept was canned last month and I feel like I just got rescued for a bit only to eventually get thrown out again. Apparently, I'm just so awesome that I may work myself out of a job.

I already have an eye on another dept I'd like to settle in because I know there's a ton of work and I'm cool with the people there, but if it doesn't work out, I might as well move onto my plan B and let this all go.

fucking insurance company took more money than they were supposed to for car insurance.

and by more i mean double. because of some clerical error involving insurance on a car that i never insured for more than fire+theft. so my account is 50$ in the hole right now. most of that money was supposed to be for groceries.

and if this was the middle of the week, i wouldn't care, i'd just call them in the morning and get them to fix the problem, refund the money, and i'd be good to go. but it's friday night, and 24-hour support can't do anything that'll get me the money before monday. hell, even the things they CAN do, don't actually guarantee me the money on monday, they're just maybes.

i need to figure something out, else this'll be one hungry weekend.

The Career Fair blew chunks. Though I'm sure the economy had something to do with that. >_>

Granted, I have 3 job offers and am not hurting, but one of the places I REALLY wanted to go work for was there, and they basically blew me off and said they weren't hiring accounting majors, despite the fact that the flyer for the career fair said they were.

And of all the things that got my resume into someone's hands was my fucking html/css expertise! Forget the 2 years of interning and 6 years of newspaper experience, it was the damn HTML/CSS thing that got them excited!
