Ok, so this pales in comparison to everyone else's vents, but it's really the only negative thing to happen to me in a while.

-Me is sick with fever and trying to sleep yesterday-

-Leh Phone Rings-

Me: Hello?
Them: Would you like to purchase [product x] today for only a nominal fee?
Me: Nooooooo. I do not not want your product. Please take me off your phone list.
Them: are you sure? This product [blah blah blah blah].
Me: I'm quite sure.... Again, please take me off your phone list.
Them: [blah blah blahs for 30 some minutes, me still half-asleep]
Me: listen, I don't want it. I want off your phone list, you call me 3 times a day as it is, and I'm sick of it. Please transfer me to your manager or whatever....
Them: I know where you live... ~~~~~hiss~~~~
-phone disconnects-

Learning the hard way that there's no such thing as being too paranoid about a potential medical problem

Already have a doctor's appointment for tomorrow that I'm certain will end at least with minor surgery. Could've maybe avoided that + at least two days of pain if I weren't so stupid as to wait for something to go away on its own.

So if anyone else ever needed another reminder to stop thinking you're paranoid and go to the doctor - take heed from my lesson.
