Zero's Familiar and the Trailer of Parody

Post by ranmaman » Sun Oct 17, 2010 8:24 pm

well first off...if your not sure about the title....its a Harry potter Parody XD

i'm gunna try no to write too much here XD

couple parts have some kinda crap quality cause the eps got killed in transition from mkv to avi

if you seen the trailer and remember it - you might notice...taht well - not everything is a "perfect" parody of the original - not that i was really going for that - but some scenes just don't exist in Zero that has a proper parody of a few scenes - so i improvised...a little bit.... being these is no broomstick in site in the series i had to chance that a bit.....and being no broomsticks.....there wasn't really a "flying away on an uncontrollable broom" either.... so i synced that more to the Sound FX then the actual scene XD
and there are a few other minor changed - but i hope you enjoy it .

I think it turned out rather well...

let me know what you think of it

This trailer is such a lie  But it was very amusing :awesome: I loved the "troll in the dungeon" part and all the Hermione parts (especially the "Petrificus Totalus" one.)

I think some of the lip sync could have been taken out in areas or worked on a tad. In some areas they were unnecessary or slightly out of tune.

But other than that?

THAT WAS FANTASTIC. :awesome: I was actually rather impressed by how well you fit the trailer to the sources in TFOZ. I would have NEVER thought of this combo in a million years. Great work on a great trailer. I'm so impressed with how well you've come, and the visual quality was great. Especially Petrifaction Totalus. That was <3. :D

Great work. 4/5

Well Thank you guys :)

i'm glad you guys are enjoying this one :D

i was working on it for a couple weeks when i finally decided to do it, after searching every where i could to make sure it hadn't already been done....especially being the first time i watched the show, i considered it "Harry Potter in which Hermoine sucks at magic as opposed to good at it" being Louise looks very much like Hermoine...aside from the pink hair XD

keep the comments/critique coming :)......assuming you feel like commenting or such :P

peace

Great job! I actually started rewatching some of these episodes just before I went to Harry Potter World and was in that kind of mood so I definitely see where you came from with the idea. And you matched it so very well! lol I also always thought the headmaster looked like Dumbledore (you know, if he wasn't such a perverted old man). There was a lot more you were able to parody that was so very fitting.

Like it was said, lip sync wasn't perfect but didn't detract to much. I shall be downloading for my hard drive ^^

...is that good or bad? XD ...guessing from the "expressions" you didn't like it?

i got a QC i was wondering about...somebody put "wrong voice for the old man"

being QC's are Anonymous ...... I can't point it out to anyone specifically ......but its the Right voice ...and by Re-watching the original trailer again - you'll be able to see/hear that XD :P

oh, XD - well Glad you enjoyed it :D,

I'm probably going to submit this to a couple of cons just to see what kind of audience reactions i get....though just kinda confused on what category to put it in sometimes...but i'm probably only be present at any local cons i can get too so unless there was live recordings by anyone i prob wouldn't see too many Reactions XD

being 1 con says that trailer parodies belong in the "comedy" group. but i just don't consider this one particularly Comedic....but if that's where they go... then that's where they go :P - just haven't had a lot of time lately to till out submission forms cause of long work days - but I'm hoping this can get well received (doesn't have to win anything) but as long as people enjoy it - that's all i care about :P
