Like the standard fx that come with an editing program but from somewhere else... o and nobody cares. The strength of this video is in the scene selection and editing. I liked the color work and masks also. Honestly, 90% of the video is not Riot Gear and stock arrows. There's obviously a lot more to the video than just that.

Fine. If it HAS become a standard then let's just say that color cycling is just as amazing :/
And I care. Or does my opinion not matter?

Overall, the roto work involving K-on wasn't too shabby. It was nice to look at and a pleasant effect.
The only reason I said anything about the arrows and ink splots is because those effects were totally pointless. It's getting a tad bit annoying seeing those effects (and others such as flourish) added just because you can. They added nothing to the video and if anything, took away from it (at least from my perspective.) But that's all I say about that :/
The video as a whole was incredibly unbalanced. It was kinda like "Yeeeah, K-on, lez dew this...Oh yeah, I have Kaleido Star too...OH SHIT! I totally forgot about the 30 other sources I had ripped...well, can't let that work go to waste...throw EVERYTHING in!"
It's understandable to want a big finish with lots of sources for a multi-anime video but the way that it was done here just felt very awkward.
The text should have been removed, it was cheesey and unneeded. The video would have been fine without it.
By the end of the video it had become a little less about dancing and more about pretty girls and scenes. Did the scenes look shiny? Yes. Did they really work with the overall video? Not so much...

It wasn't a bad video on a whole but it could've been much better.
Overall 3/5 - Would've been a 2.5/5 but you did a nice amount of work with the rotos

I will say I did not care for the arrows much in general. The other Kramer stuff, I liked. Ink splats, I didnt like them so much around 1:04, but the others, i thought were a nice touch, but we can babble on about which effects we like or dont like for ages. It all boils down to personal preference

I do personally feel like the arrows, were a downpoint in the video. The issue with the arrows, while the track matte did help it. The use of the arrows and the rest of the scene needed to be more dynamic. Also, I would've preferred tighter editing for this song. Like godix said, the editing was a little slow for the song. In turn, you did manage to keep a certain pace and general theme which kept the video going.

Pretty nice video I must say. I didn't like some of the masked transitions and the desaturation here and there (mostly at the beginning of the video), but it got better and better throughout the video so towards the end it became a very good video. Fast paced motion-driven scenes with decent pacing and rapid editing usually works for me. So yeah thumbsup. :)

For me, one of the better dance AMVs I have seen this year. Scene selection is definitely the strong point and when it comes to effects ... well, I'm not much of an effect-user but most of them felt nice and what is most important - didn't bother me. Editing could be a bit faster but it's on the ok level.

It's strange that some people say scene selection was very good and some say scene selection was the worst...confusing...
but thank you for leaving a comment

I liked it, but the song and the text effects were pretty awful. Not much replay value for me, but you made the video look good, and in a video like this that counts for a lot.

3.5/5
