Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I'm surprised how much everyone loves the GoldenBoy segments. Glad to see I was proven wrong!

I don't get why only 3 of these segments made it into Hell 5. I bet they were funnier than 90% of the accepted segments.

Great job Kirk Fryrear, A.C.E
ssg/Zarx was saying they had more than enough entries. Maybe they just picked a top three to go with. That or they think the other segments suck. :p

Great to see that your putting in references to other anime with the audio clips, such as the beck "Live in America" song, to many of these focus to hard on using audio that's already funny and just placing them over different shows. Though you really made that work with the sexy party :P

Some great LOL moments there. I agree with Ileia that using the storylines of the anime with the audio selections was .

I figured people would be able to make the connection. If you watch that dance scene from Perfect Blue, there's alot of talk among the audience about the singer's careers, their latest album, etc etc, the kind of conversations that're brought up in Beck alot.

And I agree, LOLRANDOM-type humor only goes so far on it's own. Putting a funny song or quote to an anime is great for only the first few times, although I'll always have a place in my heart for some exceptions

I originally wanted to add the Tazmanian devil sound effect, but the anime's own audio set to 1000% had me giggling like a chimp. :p
