Well nothing new receiving copyright infringement crap for AMV's, however over all the years of uploading i've never had one by the animation company, it's always been for music. Also the strike system didn't seem to matter...outright banned. Anyone else had that?



Though really it makes you wonder why they don't come knocking at the big AMV sites like this one. Let's hope not at least -_-

As far back as 2007, I remember I had a video taken down by the animation company, it's not new, it's the "no-strike" system that seems to be new. My account was banned this past summer with no warning or email or anything. The only way I even found out why is that the old link for one of my videos said it was deleted for copyright infringement.

I remember back when I was much more of a noob in the AMV scene. You could almost say I was in my infancy as an AMVer. Now I have quite a tale of youtube and it's copyright enforcement. It's a story about how my life got rotated 180 degrees. I'll take just a minute if you'll do me the honour of remaining stationary in your seat, I'll tell you the story of how I became a king's son in California. I didn't grow up wealthy, as a matter of fact I was birthed and brought up in the projects of west philidelphia. Usually I'd spend my afternoons engaged in a little basketball behind our school, but then we were accosted by a group of local thugs, who insisted on causing trouble for me and my friends. An altercation arose between me and one of these other boys and my mother was so frightened she insisted that I must move to L.A. to live with my aunt and uncle.

The same. Thing is they asked for me to remove some videos that were breaking copyright, I removed them, then everything seemed ok for days.
And then I couldn't log anymore.

Yeah, I got the request to have some of my stuff removed by Cartoon Network and their affiliate Canadian country. >_<

AT least I didn't get banned, and they were nice enough to just request them be deleted and didn't make a big deal out of it.
