Praises:
1) You've done a GREAT job getting your visual quality up and above what you've previously had.
Still a little iffy on a few of them, but how can I possibly complain when they're all watchable. 2) Integration of Elfin Leid footage in a romance video without it being ironic.
3) The scene of RomeoxJuliet embracing while their swords are clinging in the background? That is SUCH A CUTE concept!
4) Fruits Bsaket was given so much justice.
5) 2:45 and everything after that was just done SO WELL. The scenes and music melded so well together.
6) The atmosphere in the video was so compelling, I had to watch it a few times through before I really started seeing the few critiques I wanted to make. And it's a video I can watch the entire way through without intteruption.
But here's my general critiques.
1) A little too much focus on RomeoxJuliet in the middle for a multi-source AMV. It was almost an entire chorus just for them.
2) Zero no Tuski's segment was a little too fast in terms of sync.
3) 2:39 the drum beats? Those were pretty bad off sync and looked sloppy.
4) The scenes chosen were kind of the "default" scenes in every anime that gets used pretty often, but it was still done in a compelling way, so I can't really complain, just pointing it out.
5) Grey effect at beginning was cute, but because it was nixed in the rest of the video, it probably could have been cut and done with something more flow-fitting.
I'm also gonna copy/paste this and give this video a well deserved OP.
