A2: Not sure what you mean so I'll refrain from answering.

A3: Yes, I have seen it, it has been done. But people prefer it if it's actually funny. The Afrikaans Accent Institute is one example.
So the animation has to have music for a story or people dancing..got it ^_^
thank you ^^

1) It has to be a music video. As was said in the part that you quoted, [original animation] has to look like anime for it to be allowed here (see this vid for an example)

2) As long as it's 51% anime you can enter it into the catalog and upload it (I think the threshold is 51%, might want to wait for a mod or admin to verify this).

3) The main thing is that a video has to have a majority of anime as footage, there aren't really any restrictions on audio as far as I know (though if you use something really vulgar, that might get removed)
1) So you mean it has to be like a Japanese style? big eyes, small nose and such?

2) Yeah...my videos are 90% anime ^^

3) They're all video games by Japanese Companies>>FFs..REs..DMCs..KHs & MGSs
Thanks ^.^

Not really, if you feel it works without it. What about doing it in the style of the muted movies from the era of the start of the cinematography? Etc, etc. Music is usual, but nowadays, it's not completely necessary. From the point of Anime/Music (Videos) - silence can be taken as a kind of music, while non-anime animation can't be taken as anime animation.

1) sometimes not... if you use early anime (they are fairly proportional... and then there're early bishounen anime with really long and pointy noses... etc :>) But yeah, generally.

2) Coo'

3) Yep, that works fine. Always better to check, though, there's a lot of Korean stuff nowadays that looks fairly simmilar :>

I actually went and downloaded your vid and watched about halfway through to get a sense of what you meant. You don't have to worry, that would definitely count as an AMV even with the music video footage inputted...you're not the first to have done this, many others have. TheDarkProdigy's Behind the wall is simply one of many examples. I have also done the same twice but those are not on this site. But here are the links just to show more examples: Bokutachi no Shinigami and It Always Rains on June 17th(Woot for self pimping! >_>). You can even use footage you've filmed yourself, for example, Koopiskeva's Twilight, Megamom's Good Boys Never Win(which incidentally is a Princess Tutu AMV also), and CracktheSky's d!gital me. The usage of 3D footage you've created and original animation are also allowed, as long as everything is strictly in the sense of an AMV. Yes, parodies are allowed, the audio does not necessarily have to be music. I do recall an editor, Rubix, i believe that uploaded his AMV Comedian videos with the audio being from various comedians. And I believe Kariudo is correct, it has to be roughly 51% anime or the original animation has to be in an anime style but it is always good to double check with the mods to make sure. Anyways, I hope that was helpful cause it took quite a while to track down and link those...not to mention double checking your video...which incidentally, I wanted to point out that those borders were a tad bit distracting, I felt they were unnecessary. Intro might have been a bit too long also...but that's just me...
The videos you sent me were great..specially the Princess Tutu one...it's amazing how that guy made it in a way that made himself dream of becoming an anime character ^^

About me video..yeah many people thought the borders were disturbing..even the person whom I dedicated the video thought so..I'll have to make simpler ones XD
The intro was long cause it was a dedication...but yeah..long intros aren't a good idea anyway

Thanks for answering me questions & thanks for the vids & the comment on my AMV ^_^

1- Hehehe I like how you defined the bishounen guys "with really long and pointy noses" ^^
I get it now..I shouldn't follow the American comic styles for example..the styke has to be somehow Japanese

3-And I can use Korean stuff as well? I think they do have animes & games too

1) Precisely, you can :<

2) :>

3) Nope (at least unless it's 49% or less in the video, the rest being japanese), that's where you have to be careful ^^

It's actually fairly funny that you can submit your original anime-like animation and not be Japanese, while every other non-Japanese creation counts as non-anime for the counting purposes... but that's just how the rules are :>

Wow
I like how I can freely create stuff here :D >>> that is free according to the site's rules XD

To summarize all your answers..this is what I understood ^-^ :
1- I can create animes in Japanese style & do whatever I want with them..what I mean whatever is that I can make them music videos..dancing....stories or short movies
2- I can include real people in my videos as long as most of the video (over 50%) is an anime
3- I can create parodies in any way or language (music or dialogues or funny sound effects) as long as they're anime (or over 70% anime)

Thanks to you guys now I can upload videos safely without breaking the rules
But what would happen if I unintentionally uploaded something might not be allowed here?
I mean..if my animation for example isn't considered a Japanese style or some videos were rejected harmfulness reasons (harmful such as attacking videos) ?

That's why you double check if you aren't sure, I'm not sure where to find it but AMV ORG has it's own definition of anime.

You could always contact a moderator or admin through private message or email.

Just to note, it actually isn't required the original animation be 'anime style'. I know of at least one video that looks like little more than a flash animation and it's been on the org for years. The original animation is a rather gray area, as long as you don't appear like you're abusing the hell out of it then I doubt anyone would care.
