I pretty much agree with Arashinome and Dn@. The mood was just off and the tv simulator was ugly and pointless. Decent editing though but also too much sync.

Diden't like it neither, too many black fades, tv simulator and those film roll lasted too long...
Editing in general had nothing outstanding and i don't know if it's just me but the output quality on the mp4 was not that good for such an HD footage.

Hmm...might just be my computer but the quality was a bit strange at times.Like at 0:41 I got a black blurry and pixelly shadow around Renji and at 0:52 the colours on his clothes look disorted.

But nice concept and editing.Liked the scene selection,good job!

That was enjoyable. Definitely better than "another ef AMV" for me. Flawless camera work and the exactly needed amount of shake/noise/brightness correction, I really like this editing style. All I could complain were flapping mouths and not perfect sync in thost fast-scene-change-sequences. 4/5 for me, + high rewatchability (what an ugly word, hehe).

that was something fresh, it was pretty enjoyable, though it felt weird when it actually slowed down because there wasn't anything special heh still it was nice watch

mixed opinion throughout the vid, it started off with "oh another solid Chihiro x Renji vid 3.5" then went to a "sweet finally someone who actually put Kei and even a bit of Kyousuke in it which other ef vids ignore 4.5" then "wtf is with all this camera movement and film reeling its happening too fast *starts feeling sick and steps away from monitor* 3/5 oh good its over, *moves his chair back in* then finally "solid ending, and I like his faster synch pace on these rapid scene changes nice contrast to other ef vids" so overall 4/5 =O

lol but the song is a little faster than I'd expect. I came out of this much more pleased than I had thought I would. Thanks!

The sync was spot-on! I also really loved the song choice (going on my MP3 for sure ^^), and this AMV has inspired me to go watch this anime.

Can't say I dug this one. The editing was pretty good but the animation didn't work with the atmosphere of the song at all imo. Made it feel pretty stale to me. 3/5 for being well edited tho.

First thing, the TV simulator I used with a purpose, so I kinda disagree with you there. Also, the film roll was meant to last as long as the solo, it would have looked weird if I had cut it short and the solo kept going, so I just did it for the whole thing. Also, my source footage was far from HD, and it looks pretty much exactly as it does in the source itself so...don't know what to tell ya.

The mood and pace that you set up in the first 20 seconds was great, but unfortunately ef isn't overflowing with scenes that would be able to keep that going.

Truth be told, I only entered this under romance because I also wanted to enter Phobia, which would only fit under drama. I totally agree, though there are more sides to romance than just the lovey-dovey stuff

That was totally badass, Benny. It took me three or four times watching it to actually understand what was happening, but the first two of those were on the big screen at Acen, and I hardly ever retain any information from convention viewings.


...actually, I'm not sure if I've finished watching it all the way through on my computer. Both times I tried to watch it, playback stopped maybe halfway through. I'll try downloading it again so I can remember how it ends.

EDIT: Um, apparently I never downloaded it in the first place, so I have no idea how I even watched it at all after Acen. Irregardless, can I set up an interview the first sentence of this post is still true.

EDIT AGAIN: I read your notes about this video and that made it like three times better. The description itself was really interesting too.
