Clannad AMV: Snow Sakura

This is a Clannad video with the coupling of TomoyoxTomoya.

Story: If you have watched Clannad, then you would know that Tomoyo wishes to save the Sakura (cherry blossom) trees from being cut down. But to do so, she must choose between her goal and her relationship with Tomoya. This video represents their relationship and the hardships they face in order to make it to the finish line. (Well it more or less does it... probably)

320x240? Is this a joke?

Asside from the video quality, bad chroma keys, over used drum sync and lip flap, i didn't mind this. But don't over do the sync, it's a romance video, not a action video, you need a slower pace. Effects were ok. You've got a bit to learn, but you're going in the right direction. Good colour correction. 2.5/5

Sorry about the horrid quality, I tried making it mp4 like was suggested... I should probably read that compression board or continue to just make it smaller with WMM.

/I'm pending a delete request so that I can reupload it bigger.

h264 MP4 from Zarxgui is probably what you're looking for.

guy07 has about covered the bases on this one.

What I noticed right off was that your masked-in sakura petals were over an area larger than the actual video frame. The biggest problem is simply that you seem to have overdone the sync. Not bad, but I don't think I'll be keeping this.

I do look forward to what you do after this, though...

hmm I actually liked the sync style with the cuts in this one. What I didn;t like was all the bad effects slapped ontop of that somewhat stylish sync style making it look way too busy. (also the flashes on the fast drumrolls are kinda out of place for a romance vid) Ignoring the faults though, overall a nice amv.

Edit: oh yea forgot to mention, the sakura petals just looked kinda bad, either you should have made your own in AE like I did with SCG (I actually animated petals I drew in PSD and overlayed that), or just not use them if you can't get rid of the tacky black fuzzy edges around em.
