Thanks for the comments so far guys.
We're gonna take turns responding (I hope

) so I'll just pinpoint some things beforehand.

The project began on msn and it was meant to be a fun project after all those bday amvs we've made one to another.It wasn't an attempt at making a super cool amv full of effects and masking or with a deep meaning.Simple stuff,no theme,little to no effects.

We picked up 15-20 anime sources each according to what we had on dvds,hdd and what we could find.That's why the sequences are totally heterogenous.
Also,it's not an amv about magical girls,only Steven used them too much.

The name choice was arguably the most difficult one.We must have come with over 100 different names (illumination, various names of flowers, names relevant to lighting, fighting moves from video games, etc.) but we weren't pleased with any of them and finally ended up choosing this one.I'd prefer something like Crazy Senioritas but anyway...

Concerning repetitiveness,I don't think that's the case as each one edited his segment in a different way.We all resorted to speeding up our footage as the song is ultra fast and there are no transitions between the sequences simply because we all used the same song...

Anyway, for me this was the best no effects dance vid I've seen since feel the mambo (even though they're totally different styles.) Great scene selection, good transitions, cuts just long enough comprehend what's going on, I could probably watch it on loop. Reminds me of why I like dance vids in the first place.

The colours, the rhythm, the uplifting song, the girls! What else would you want from such a video?

For this type of video, it was top notch editing. I watched it once, it was nice. But its certainly not a video I would enjoy a second time.

What? So there are only three types of videos? Slow cut videos, effect whoring videos, and videos that use nothing but shots of anime girls sped up to 300%?

To be honest, this is REALLY not my type of video, so personal rating 2/5...

But editing wise it was good, but as niwa said i would have liked to see some more effects..
